Elder David Parker-Brooks

Elder David Parker-Brooks is the Associate Pastor of Holiness Church of God New Journey. He has humbly served the congregation at Holiness Church of God New Journey for 13 years. Pastor David has served in many capacities including van driver, finance committee , Chairman of the Deacon board, Elder, and now Pastor. He grew up in Milwaukee, WI. and attended Emmaus Lutheran School where he first heard the calling as a young teen. David later relocated to his adopted home of South Bend, IN while in high school. Before he was know as “Pastor David” he was known as “Chef David”. He matriculated at Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts in Las Vegas, NV. Where he earned his degree in Applied Sciences. Chef David worked for 13 years in the industry as a Head Chef and Director of Dietary Services in the long term care industry. He is the loving husband of Olevia Hopson-Brooks and proud father of Adelia Parker-Brooks. Currently Pastor David divides his time serving God’s people and driving his semi. You can find him involved in the day to day operations of the church, along with providing guidance and counsel to anyone in need. One of his favorite things is gathering the men of the church together for a meal and fellowship.
